Shower WITHOUT Washing Dreads!

So we all know that dreadlocks can and should be washed... right? However, washing and drying dreads is a time consuming process and so not usually something you want to do at the start/end of each and day... but, that shouldn't stop you from being able to shower!

  1. Hey dude, I have had my dreads for a month now and some of my dreads' roots has loops in them. Now I know that loose roots is just one of the stepping stones, but I don't know if they're supposed to have loops like this (imagine a small part of the root being more loose than the rest of the root to the point that it bends). I had some guy do my dreds and I just want to make sure if he's not just tryin to make me come back for an extra payroll if you know what I mean!

  2. Hey Man, first of all GREAT VIDEOS, i absolutely love them. secondly, i have a question about my dreads. I have them for almost a year now so they are still new a frizzy. However, since i had dread i started to get an itchy scalp (like everyone) but also a condition that I thought to be Dandruff. there are little white flakes of scalp in my hair but I found out that I could use the deep cleanse method just with rosemary oil (actually i also add other oils (like tea tree and lavendel) but rosemary helps for this) or just buy a anti dandruff dread shampoo. HOWEVER, i had them redone a few weeks ago and the person that did them told me that it is actually not dandruff but some kind of mold (which sounds very gross but it actually looks like dandruff) I was wondering if you have any advice on this? as i said rosemary oil helps but i have to wash it every 2 weeks in order to prevent myself scratching my dreads and I would really like to wash it less often (once a month) any advice?

    1. in addition (watching your dreadrot video atm): they do not have an unpleasant smell, they are not wet, I am always washing them properly and with clean towels etc, it is really a scalp issue and not the dreads itself
