WHAT'S INSIDE 10 YEAR OLD DREADS? - DISSECTING DREADLOCKS!

There seems to be a rather commonly held belief that locked hair is, how to put this - unpleasant? People may insinuate that locked hair is dirty, unclean, that the dreads are filled with dirt, filth, waxes, built up products, or host to a whole colony of lice, spiders or other bugs.

As someone who spends the vast majority of my time with locked hair literally inches from my face, I feel I would be more aware of these things than most of the people who spread these ideas, however I have decided to investigate for myself, and today I’ll be cutting some locked hair in half and having a look inside.
